The 44th Colchester Scout Group is part of Colchester North District, in the county of Essex. Currently the Group has Beaver Scout, Cub Scout and Scout sections and who all meet on a Monday night.

The Group is very active, with a busy programme of camps, events and week to week activities. All sections are led by a dedicated team of leaders and supported by a strong executive committee. All members are proud to wear the Group colours of Bright Orange.
