What we do
Volunteering
The everyday adventure is possible thanks to our adult volunteers. They support Scouts in a wide range of roles from working directly with young people, to helping manage a Group or being a charity Trustee.
Scout Active Support
Scout Active Support allows people to give their time to Scouting on a flexible basis. People can still be involved in Scouting without the full-time commitment of being a leader.
As a Group we want to create more Scouting opportunities for young people through flexible volunteering.
- To find adults for key roles
- To build the skills of the team
- To enable the Group to offer climbing, canoeing and sailing
- To consider options for growing the Group
